COGNITIVE-BEHAVIORAL THERAPY BERLIN

PLEASE VISIT OUR NEW WEBSITE: WWW.CBTBERLIN.COM

I am an experienced psychologist and psychotherapist offering cognitive-behavioral treatment (CBT) in English, Danish and other Scandinavian languages.

I treat patients with stress, depression, anxiety disorders (incl. OCD) and personality disorders. I offer treatment for both children and adults, individually and in groups.

Cognitive therapy is a structured short-term therapy. The focus is primarily on the patient's current concerns and difficulties and on the patient's aims for the future.

The aim of the therapy is to teach the patient how to handle and cope with his or her difficulties. The patient is therefore taught general methods and tools that can be used in difficult situations in the future.

My practice is based in Prenzlauerberg/Mitte, Berlin.

ABOUT ME

I am a psychologist/psychotherapist from Copenhagen, Denmark. I have completed my education as a psychologist in England and Denmark - my BSc in 2000 from University of Leeds and my MSc in 2005 from University of Copenhagen.

In 2008, I received my authorization from the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration, Denmark.

I have worked as a psychologist and cognitive-behavioral therapist for 7 years - in two private practices, at a family treatment centre, a psychotherapeutic out-patient clinic at a psychiatric centre and at a crisis centre for abused women and children.
